Not right now but maybe in the future, we have a back up but .. reinstalling a board is not easy with some hacks and re intergrating the Classifieds
Our server sits is co-located in Toronto and over the long weekend there was no on there to help out woth some of the Free BSD stuff. So we had some quick lessons from the net and got the site back up.
As for the board , this is hobby for us .. and it is one large site .. we generate a lot of hits.
We will be putting up a archive to old posts today or tomorrow once we get the Classifieds up and running in a seperate Database , we are pretty sure the integration to the classifieds took it down.
Gave us the ability to clean up the database too. :)

Right now it is , we have a database with 174000 records from the old posts that I am thinking of putting up in a html format or a SQL that I will build.

Your not on a paid service and this is just a hobby so we can't dedicate all of our time. But I Want to get this up and right now we are concerned as there may be a hard ware problem with our server.

Looks to me that the board is building quickly, so in no time we it will be a memory.

If you aren't happy with what they do bring back....all I can say is oh well. As Les has stated this is done free of charge to you and everyone else as a hobby. If you like, go start your own board and see what it actually takes to make a board where the members are all like family. Your whining wont wash very well with members here. My guess is you have NO clue as to whats involved keeping a board up and running when there is a harware issue you cant pinpoint. What do you do????...change the whole server to solve the problem?....maybe if you have tons of money to throw away. This is their hobby and they have spent countless sleepless nights lately getting back what they have. Older post on backup can be left as that as far as I am concerned...a backup. Time to start fresh and in no time we WILL have all of that valuable info back. Appreciate what we do have here and either deal with it or move on. Dont like it, stay at your own board and keep the attitude there. Nuff said. :mad:
