OE-6 Links not opening ??

I cannot open links from my e-mail. If I get an e-mail from a company and there are several pictures to click on, or links, nothing happens. E-mails from friends with a web site link, doesn't work either.

I use Outlook Express and XP.

Links Do Not Work in Outlook Express
Problem: When you receive an e-mail with an embedded link to a site it will not open when you click the link.

Solution: This is usually associated with text links although it can occur just as easily when you click a graphic that is hyperlinked. In most cases this is caused by pop up stopper software that has been installed. Disable or uninstall the pop up stopper and see if it solves the problem.

Thanks for your help Mitch. I got it repaired did something entirely different.Went into IE tools options and got it done. Thanks Ron.:ish:

when you went to IE tools, what did u do? i cannot seem to get any links to work in my ourlook express. i have tried all that was suggested but to no avail. i am gettin really frustrated. i tried to search on google also.

Probably... IE... Tools... Internet Options... Programs Tab...

Make sure your E-mail is set to Outlook Express...

Check off the box "Internet Explorer should check to see if its default"

The other thing that may help is to Reset the Web Setting...
