Mozilla Issues Second 'Deer Park' Alpha Release
The unbranded test release for what will become Firefox 1.1 rolls towards an end-of-July beta release.

The Mozilla Foundation has posted the second alpha edition of its next stand-alone browser, for now code named "Deer Park."
This version, Mozilla said late Tuesday, now includes an integrated update system that will make it possible to patch the browser will small-sized upgrade files, rather than forcing users to download and re-install a full version, as is now the case. The update system, however, is disabled for the moment.
