Audio Device

This morning i go to my computer , log on and then satrt up windows media player to play my tracks, nothing plays , just a message pops up and says that there may be a probelm with the selected tracks or my audio device isnt working properly.
I check my audio properties and to my suprise i can do nothing evryhting is grayed out, could this be an external error , or what? I need a little help.

Hello Moe go in to device manager and look for your sound card.
if its has an exclamation point. you may need to reinstall the
sound drivers.
