System Restore

hello, yesterday I had no choice but to use system restore. It put me back 3 days. I just relized that every day i updated my accounting software. Now everything on my accounting lists are gone from those 3 days. Does any1 know how to get them back?? :vxd:

No problem, reset your System restore to the day prior to the restore you did, in other words, undo your change.
Go into your accounting software and make a backup, also backup anything else you need. Then go and do the system restore again to fix the problem you were having.
Once up and running update your software which you backed up from your backup disc.

Next time remember to retrieve the important information / changes before doing a System restore.
Also once the system restore is done go back to MS for windows update just incase.

doesn't xp give you (on the restore screen), the option to UNDO restore??
If so, then do that .. if not then Rustynut hit it on the head :-)
