I have been out of the tech loop for a while. Is Kazaa network dead?
If so, should I try Limewire? What other alternatives are there?

Still around but more or less a waste now.
Try ares http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/ or limeware http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml.

Kazaa is full of corrupt files and yes to most people is dead. We dumped Kazaa about a year ago and have switched to Limewire and have no more problems with corrupt files

Does Kaazalite still work? Are there any nodes out there to hook up too?
Where do you get Kaazalite?
Forget about Kazaa lite.
Go for a Gnutella based client (limewire, bearshare lite, etc.)

Are there any good links that can tell me the best way to get rid of Kaaza Lite? I thought I saw a link that gave info on how to get rid of KaazaLite but now I can't find it.
Thanks in advance to all for your replies.

The best p2p i've found that is adfree and isnt bundled with malicious software like some pf the other p2p programs mentioned in this thread.
Maybe some of you have heard of it...

Another good Gnutella client is Frostwire (http://www.frostwire.com/static/index.html)
Now that Limewire has introduced a filter (for the RIAA) in their latest version, it's better to use Frostwire.
