View Full Version : CD release
after losing count at 30 grand, (I'm sure it was way more somehow) revolving door of band members, almost 3 years in the making, we're finally releasing a the record on Burr/Universal Music. In stores (I hope :)) March 28th, we are in Junofest in Halifax for the Junos, and we are playing our cd release show here in TO at the Horseshoe April 11th the CFNY presented by Dave bookman night at 11PM. Free to get in, and equally free to get rocked. If you're around drop down.

Congrats on the new cd Tim. I hope sells like a Celine Dion cd. :) I'll be looking for it. Of course I want mine signed.

often you are signed to an indie label initially, which is then either bought out by a major, or licences the record to a major, or some kind of deal where a major takes over distribution or marketing or whatever. Sometimes there are more than 2 in the string.
something like that.

Cool....
What is medium rotation in terms of frequency of airplay?
not entirely sure, but I can ask. I think probably once a day.

MEDIUM ROTATION
Six to eleven spins per week
:d
Here. (http://www.billwencepromotions.com/terms.html)
nice.
I always thought of it as a daily spin, but never knew the actual number.
Truthfully I don't know[expletive].

Good write up - nothing beats free publicity, especially in a national paper. Here's hoping it generates more CD sales for you guys :)
Did you know about this in advance Tim?

We did know it was a chance, the interview was done a month ago, but it was a small chance so I didn't get my hopes up.

I found this pic at http://www.chartattack.com/damn/2002/04/1107.cfm
The guy in the glasses (Barry?) reminds me of Ian Hunter from his Mott the Hoople days.

Yikes.
With that amount of back-lighting they must look older then The Stones.
I liked Doug's picture better, where Tim looked underfed.
hate that pic. But I was outvoted. Yea I elbowed the guy to my left. :)
underfed, well, I'm bigger than everyone so they put me in the back.
Yikes.
