Just so you know a few months after you build your computer the new processor platforms for AMD and Intel come out.

tigerdirect.com is American so if you haven't you'll have to convert the prices to Canadian and there will be a hefty shipping fee, no taxes though.

If you are planning on buying 2 months from now you have plenty of time to do some research on prices and the best items to buy, also prices change everyday, what might be a good deal today , maynot be in 2 months.

If your going to buy in 2 months by that time AMD will be releasing their new Cpus or around then anyways so you might as well wait for it because then the prices for todays parts will go down in price and it should be a good difference in your total that you have now.

But so far the system looks ok, I would personally go for a more powerfull cpu maybe even a Dual core. By the time u get the system prices will be lower.

Also I have found that CanadaComputers.com is usually cheaper then tigerdirect

You can look at it this way as well; when AMD releases new socket, the 939's will likely drop slightly in cost. As the new CPU's become more popular, the 939 CPU's will drop ever more significantly.

Hello

I appreciate your replies.

I am thinking of purchasing the new system after Easter and hopefully the price will go down enough to warrant a quicker CPU.

But anways, I did a little compare shopping between Tigerdirect.ca and CanadaComputers.ca and see attachment.

The price is not much difference.

But the Canadacomputers system, has more Harddrive Space, Better Powersupply, & I think a better video card not to sure if the OC at the end makes a diff or not.

Go for the CanadaComputers system Better & Cheaper, you cant go wrong.

Well there really is not a difference between video cards as both are overclocked once I open the packaging.

Canada Computers is the better deal because of the case and PS and bigger HD, why not spend $20 more and get a DVD-RW??
