I see no one started this thread yesterday... so I'll start it now...

Last weeks winner was ultrabuzz... congrats.

Please pick and post a new topic in this thread.


Photo Contest Rules
1 entry per person.

**Photos must have been taken by you**

Can be digital or Scanned, Colour or Black and White.

Minimal Photo editing please, this is not a contest of your "Photoshopping" skills.

Contest starts on Sunday (as soon as previous weeks winner posts a topic)

Entries close ~7 am Friday (when I start setting up the voting).

Voting starts ~ 7 am Friday ( as soon as I get the poll set up) and closes 48 hours later.

Each weeks topic is chosen by the previous weeks winner

Sorry for the low res on this picture, I can't seem to find the orginal. Its a scan and take a few yrs ago before digital cameras.
Anyways this was taken in the Azores, Terciera, running of the bulls. Heading over there this summer will be taking TONS of new digitals on my dSLR once I get it in weeks or two.

Looking down into Masaya Volcano, Nicaragua March 10, 2006

Haze in the photo is highly toxic Sulphuric acid gas.

Wind must be blowing in the right direction for you to visit... max time allowed 20 min and you must park with your car or bus facing out for a quick escape if necessary.

Nice pic, though I'm surprised they would even allow people to visit and get that close to what really is a toxic site :ntb: - The wind can change direction in a second and for them to allow tourists to get exposed to toxics like that seems irresponsible to me.
