All talk format, according to todays Star. Hardly competition for Much. Something must have changed, as my son was called in for an audition as VJ back in November. The only one that got hired was Eugene Levy's son, apparently.

Yet another venue for more commercials, this time featuring music related stuff.

He got this call based on winning Takeover on Much. One of the producers used to work for Much, and tracked him down, and invited him and 3 other takeover winners to audition. He was the only one to get a second shot, and things looked pretty promising for a while. Of the 14 people there on the second 4 hour audition, he was one of only 2 that didn't have an agent. Most of them were models, and part time actors, and were there on what was just another casting call. Maybe down the road. We were surprised to see th talk format in the paper today, since the auditions were for VJ and similar tasks.

You don't have to pay royalties to 'play' talk.

Also gets around the CanCon rules.
