Is there any program out there that will slow my connection down to a simulated dial up.. or a website that will allow me to connect up to my site as if I was surfing it on dial up ?
I need to do this for testing purposes.. as alot of my rural customers are in the dial up age.

Sloppy
Sloppy deliberately slows the transfer of data between client and server.

Or you can try NetLimiter.

NetLimiter is an Internet traffic control tool suited to monitor applications which access the Internet and actively control their Internet traffic. You can use it to set (download/upload) speed limits for applications or even single connection. Simply, it allows you to share your Internet connection bandwidth among all applications running on your PC.
With this unique and never seen before feature, Netlimiter offers comprehensive set of Internet statistical tools which includes real-time traffic measurement and long-term per-application internet traffic statistics. You finally become the master of your Internet connection.
if you're in business, get a 56 k service. You can find a cheap testing service, I've used 56k service from 295.ca for a while now, it does all I need for 3 bucks a month.
Too bad dreamweaver can't emulate 56k like flash can.
