I saw this on Google and as far as I can tell it is serious. If anyone else watches it. do they think this is real or some kind of contrived prank?
I don't have enough experience with the guts of a computer so I am not sure .

Im pretty sure at -179 celcius the silicon in the cpu will not work, and -39 is too cold for the chipset as well. if this was actually tried i think science predicts that everything will crack

True, but clocking the crap out of a processor is useless if the drives aren't even being found.

He claimed memtesting @ 6.6 Ghz, screens of that would have made a believer out of me.

At least the German dude was in Windows and changing settings on the fly without it crashing.

A suicide shot at 7+ghz is almost 50% faster than the 5ghz mark though... check this one...http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=85757

Now that I can work with.

If boot screen pics counted in my world, I had the fastest Athlon anything in the world once... for about 12 seconds. :(
