What is the best way to get rid of those white grubs that eat away at your grass and kill the roots?

Two ways. Put out fish parts to draw every skunk in town to your lawn, or buy the liquid from a nursery containing two kinds of nematodes. I think they recomend June or July treatment. About $30.00 for 300 sq. ft. Lawn has to be well watered first. This will not harm worms.

A rototiller works wonders! Afterward you get to start all over with freash grass seed!

Done that last year and removed all old grass. Used grass seeds and re-did the lawn. I'm hoping that this year will be better.

I kind of like them little critters since they kill the grass which in turn prevents it from growing thus no mowing! :p

You know how yukky and muddy everything would be if there was no grass?!? :gsd::kpz:

I haven't had a problem with grubs til last year... and now my front lawn is destroyed :wwh:

Oh well, time to start over... it's just the timing couldn't be worse... :gaa:

I've resorted to adding a grub kill to my annual schedule as a proactive measure, it's also less expensive if part of a program.

Good luck!
