One thing I can say for the terrorists. If they wanted to instill fear in the US they certainly accomplished that.

I have a friend who does photography in the U.S.

A simple call to the local police station prior to taking photos of infrastructure vulnerable to possible terror attacks has always proven useful.

Ian Spears achieved his objective. Reading that I felt anger, frustration and yah - uncomfortable.

The new US of A. Eventually they'll have to do a lyrical rewrite on "The Star Spangled Banner" or it could be mistaken for a tune from a Disney film.

the point is he shouldn't have had to. He already had permission from the park ranger. Perhaps the 'homeland security' guys hadn't thought of talking to him. Or to police (present?) who already had him on file.

"I sincerely hope this project makes you think." It definately gives one another perspective on things. Good read, thanks Tim.

This guy obviously needs to speak to Micheal Jackson about making his skin whiter.

That was a good read. I thoroughly enjoyed that and it tells you how on the edge "Homeland Security" is.
