Ok Im not very good at linux I have used it before installed it and so on but not sure if it will work like windows (probably better :) ) but basically I had a guy ask me to upgrade his computer by adding more harddrive space so I would be installing a new harddrive and im just wondering if I was to install it in the linux based comp would it come up and ask me to format and it would be ready to go or how would I go about getting it properly working?
Sorry not sure what linux they are using exactly, I dont think the guy i spoke with really knows either.
