I’ve just done a fresh install of winXP in the last little while and have all my drivers up to date. Steam is up to date and so is HL2 and CS:S. HL2 runs fine and I never have a problem with it. CS:S on the other hand – when I tried to connect to a server to join in a game it crash’s on me. It sometimes works – it seems to be very random.
I tried doing a search on Steam – and tried some of there suggestions – nothing seems to work. (e.g. turnning of firewall - antivirus - and anything else that doesn't need to run)
Does anyone have ideas?
