Booze & Blossoms
One for me, one for the tulips.
Next time you want to have a couple of drinks, spare a few shots for the garden.
Cornell University researcher William Miller says pouring a little hooch on the flower bed prevents the pretty plants from tipping over.
He admits that the stems don’t grow as tall, but the booze apparently doesn’t affect the blossoms.
The scientist recommends that you use diluted whisky, vodka, gin or tequila and stay away from beer or wine.
Miller says he’s going to try watering the vegetable patch with booze next.
Perhaps one day he’ll be able to grow his own Bloody Caesar.
