I am using PHOTBUCKET right now and i filled up my free account.. which is 25MB.

is there a free one out there that can go to about 10x the size, or at least 100MB..

or should i pay for the hosting.. which is $25 a year, USD i think so it almost 30.

I pay the $25 a year for flickr. You get 2GB upload a month and each image can be up to 10mb. There are no other limits. So far I'm very satified wih it.

The only problem with the Rogers Yahoo is that everyone can only view your pictures at the small size specified by Yahoo. They can't enlarge them.

I have a paid account with Photobucket and have been very happy with it, I used to use ImageStation but I am not sure if they now charge or not =\ I'm sure if you do a search for free image hosting on google your bound to find something

Another thing you can do is purchase some FTP space for about 25$ a year. That gives you 100 MB per month of storage. Then you can use a program like Picassa2 from Google or ThumbsPlus! to create your own photo webpages and upload them to your FTP space.

I've used ImageShack in the past to host single photos. www.imageshack.us

It may not be what you're looking for, I think it has limited photo album capabilities (they do offer phto-blogging http://blog.imageshack.us/ )and the image size can't exceed 1024kb (i.e. 1mb), but I think you can host an unlimited amount of photos.

From their FAQ...
Does ImageShack® cost anything?
No, ImageShack® is completely free.

How many images can I upload?
You can upload as many images as you want, as long as each one adheres to the Terms of Service.

What is the upload limit? Which image types am I allowed to upload?
You may upload as many images as you like, as long as each of them is less than 1024 kilobytes in size. If your image is greater than 1024 kilobytes in size, it will be resized automatically. Your connection will most likely time out if you try to upload an image greater than 3 megabytes. You may upload .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .swf, and .png image types. bmp, tif, and tiff images will be converted to .png automatically.

I'm sure with pay programs you'll get better options, but if you're looking for free hosting it may be worth looking into.

Lol! You guys are silly. Use File Service. Its designed for web based file storage.
300 MB, any file type, no bandwidth limits (even tho it says, its not tabulated), FTP & HTTP uploads, bandwidth saving imagery, auto thumbnails, built in video players, slideshow, the works!

Its free, and there aren't any ads. Did I mention its free, and their aren't any ads?
