Just got a new PC. It has DDR 2700 (166MHz) memory. In my son's PC he has DDR 3200 (200MHz).

How much faster would his PC be if we had the same MB? Where would I see the difference?

It depends on the processor and many other factors. Bandwidth requirements vary depending on the hardware in use.
