Sympatico e-mail servers

I am on Sympatico dialup and can't connect to their e-mail server. Is anyone else who uses sympatico having the same problem.

Been that way for the last 3 hours.

And I'm on Bell Basic.

thanks for the reply- Is there a site where sympatico puts out any info on problems they are having, or are they happy leaving the paying customers in the dark

Both my sympatico e-mail addresses work fine. I am on sympatico HSE (3mb)

i beleive the high speed have different servers. Another kick at the poor dialup users.

I wouldn't rely on sympatico for e-mail simply for the fact of to many problems As far as speed and consistancy I havent had a problem.

My Sympatico DSL line has also been down these past 3 hours. What is annoying is you are unable to verify the status. First you think the fault is at your own end and re-boot, if you phone you will not get through. The fault can be the local "office" serving your postal code or it can be the main server. It is kept a secret !

I costs big bucks to change their outgoing telephone message.

I am on Bell High Speed inthe KW area and when I called 310-SURF the msg confirmed the problem.

I was just to lazy to try before.

I'm so used to these problems, I guess I'm to complacent.

Would Bellnet and Bell HSE use the same lines and servers?
