Unable to Share a Printer on Network - Help!

I have 2 XP Professional computers on a network sharing the Internet but for the life of me I cannot seem to share the one printer I have. I am using a Router for my network with no print server. I have set under PRINTERS on the server machine to "share" the printer but the other machine can never find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try installing the printer on the other computer. When the dialouge box asking if it is a local or network printer pops up, select network. You may need to point it to the address of the computer the printer is connected to.

Leaving it the way it is ... how do I find out what the exact address of my printer is?

The printer does not have an address, the computer the printer is attached to does. You can find this computer's address (probably 192.168.1.100 or similar) through the router.

If the name of your workgroup is "Workgroup", and the the printer you want to share is attached to "Computer1", then the address of the printer is:
\\Workgroup\Computer1\Printer name
