Hi I seem to run into this problem all the time . I just clicked on my my computer icon and right clicked to prperties where it shows a pie like diagram and it also shows that I don't have much space left after doing a disk cleanup I have recovered not a lot of space http://www.lakecs.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif What I would like to know is how can I make more space Im sure that some of the space is being taken up by adware etc but how do I know which files I should delete and which ones are needed to run my applications properly http://www.lakecs.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

You don`t say how big your drive is what have you been doing say downloading a lot of stuff or making dvds which are huge and maybe are retained. the only things ican say is clear out the junk burn and delete what you don`t need then defrag or get youself a bigger master drive ,a slave drive for files i`m sure someone else will tell you when the drive gets that full it will slow to crawl.

Get another hard drive, although I have 280 gigs, and only 6 gigs free myself. Aww, no More hard drive Cable either O.o :mad:

Not sure that spyware would take up that much space.. but you could always try Adaware.. (just update it before you use it) http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

If your disk space has all of a sudden just gone you may want to try doing an virus scan http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
