since the day i put pc toghether with a friend my front usb don't work how do i go about it.

Did you connect the front USB ports to a connector on the motherboard? If you did might want to check that it is connected and that those connectors are enabled as sometimes they can be disabled either by jumpers on the motherboard or in the BIOS.
