This is going to read like a really stupid thread, but, gawd! I gotta get this off my chest! The other day right I was in Burger King scarfing down a Whopper and rotting my teeth with Coke, and I caught myself singing badly to myself these lines, "Sabre rider, and the Star Sherriffs." At first I didn't think anything of it, but then, like, two minutes later I was singing "da da, da-da da-da, da da! Cops!" Still shrugged it off. By then some people were looking at me funny. Went home. Couldn't get those lyrics out of my head. So I googled them. Turns out they're lyrics of theme songs from two cartoons from the 80s: Sabre Rider and the Star Sherriffs, and Cops - Fighting Crime in a Future Time. The original air date for Sabre Rider was 1986 to 1987. Here's the thing. Born in '86! I can barely remember what I had for dinner two days ago and yet I have memories of an obscure Western/Sci-fi themed anime that aired when I was 0 to 1 year old. Wouldn't that just freak you out! It did me!:llh:
