Honda Civic? :)

Definitely the new Civic. Enjoy it :). Keeping the Accord or is that being traded in for the Civic?

You guys are close...

Hint #2

we are keeping both our malibu and accord... malibu will do battle in the shopping malls. :)

A flappy paddle gearbox. Interior is awfully close to the Civic. I'm assuming it is an import. Another Accord?

Ford Fusion?

new CSX

badass car.
I like it alot.
More refined, more classier than a Civic.

Mischief007
05-02-2006, 05:12 AM
Yep that's it, CSX. Overpriced Civic but that's my personal opinion. Enjoy the car :).

lbjgh
05-02-2006, 07:52 AM
Yep, she'll have it in a couple of weeks.

Galaxy Grey Metallic Premium Auto with:

6yr/160k extended warranty
rear splash guards
trunk tray
all weather floor mats
wheel locks
3M clear bra on front and mirrors

Paying for the car was never a concern, it was just getting our heads around the differences between the Civic and CSX. In the end my wife was comfortable with the final decision to purchase the CSX (her car anyway).

I think the larger engine, electric power steering, HID headlights, leather-heated seats, dual exhaust tips, nicer interior finishing finally sold us.

I'll post some pictures when we take delivery (in a couple of weeks).

Big guys like me cannot sit comfortable in Acura's. I went to the auto show and I tried every Acura and the closest i was able to sit comfortable in was the RDX. and I only weigh 200lb, slim built

It's all what YOU find comfortable..
I've seen some allot larger than you crawl out of Civic sized or smaller cars... and they say they're comfortable... :huu:

lbjgh, from the first pic, I knew it was Acura... just didn't guess CSX... I was thinking maybe an RSX.

LOL

then you obviously didn't sit in the RL.

But as Dr.Dan Said...

My dad is 215LB and he drove a TL a few weeks ago and felt just fine. He isn't slim built though. :p

I weigh more than your pop and I was competely comfortable in a Suzuki Swift but I was uncomfortable in a Ford F150.

Nice set of wheels lbjgh and I always wonder when someone says paying for the car was never a concern, "where the heck do these people work anyways and why can't I work there?" :)

p.s. the cd jewel cases stack better vertically. ;)

Awesome, i'll let em know that.

btw, its an 06 accord lxg, best of the 4litres,

damn amazing car :D

Parents are proud owners of their 2nd accord.

lbjgh
08-06-2006, 08:31 AM
4litres ? I'm confused.

hehe, I thought the sticker on the radio was digital display from the angle.

Hey d'ya think they'd be interested in a 6 disk cd player? I've got one still in the box for my car... price is definitely negotiable. Check this link: http://ca.geocities.com/5555@rogers.com/Honda6.htm

This unit is design to fit the cubby hole under the radio.

I have a 2004 EX-V6 coupe and the dash is almost identical. I'm not sure about the LXG but mine came standard with the 6 CD player.

I dont think that accord has the navigation package, I believe that that only comes with the EX-V6. My friend just bought the Accord SE, and got a ride in it. Nice car, great power, loved the seats.

T_Totler
08-06-2006, 09:27 AM
They didn't offer any navigation option in 2004 when I bought mine.

Which dealer did'ya use for that?

Tuesday I'll have pics of the new vehicle in my family. It was supposed to be picked up Friday but they ran out of paint and couldn't finish painting the hood (as requested). Yes, we drove out to Kitchener and then they tell us. In return we get a set of Lexus hats (2), set of 4 all weather floor mats and the saleman will drive the car to us (1 hour away) and drive the trade in car back.

I think he meant to type 2.4 litre. ;)

Dr.Dan
08-06-2006, 02:03 PM
OK, there's DX-G, SE, EX-L, SE-V6, & EX-V6

First 3 are 2.4 L 4 cyl. engines.. the last 2 are 3.0 L V6 engines

http://honda.ca/HondaCA2006/Models/AccordSedan/2006/Specs?L=E

Take your pick ;)

4 litre, doh, i meant cylinders. whoops/

Ya the car already comes with a 6 indash cd changer, but thanks for the offer :)

Only grief I have is no mp3 support, any cheap fm transmitters out there?

funnyman82
08-07-2006, 12:54 PM
i heard they have special harness for ipods and satellite radios...maybe they have one for mp3 players?

Carz n Compz
08-07-2006, 02:03 PM
Yes, there is a company that sells harnesses for iPods that plug into the CD changer connection on the back of the stock stereo. Some manufactures even over full iPod integration where the song name is displayed on the stereo's LCD screen.
