It was quite the exciting last two minutes. I think Micheal was coerced to get the guy out of the vault. Only thing, did Micheal shoot himself or the other guy? It looked like he shot himself.

Jack doesn't know he has sisters, I think the woman Jack's dad saw was his mistress at one time or a "second" wife.

I think Libby is dead but hopefully next week won't be a rerun and we'll find out.

Aww poor Hurley, what are the chances anyways? I mean, he couldnt find a girl out in the real world, and now hes stranded on an island, with like what 40 people, and only like 12 are female, and NOW he gets a girlfriend...

Oh well, what a shocking episode last night to say the least - didnt see any of that comming.

Ok that was just freaky , I lucked out cause Lost was on at 7pm , took the edge off of no CS.

Micheal went freaky , the Oustsider is freaky and the map in dark light really gets to me.

Two shots into Libby ... with a pillow,, Could be a plate behind that puppy ..

So freaky how the real world flash backs inter links everyone..

Love the show , really has us hooked .. (Me more then Deb) but she can still tell you what is happening.

May 4, 2006 — The death of tough girl ex-cop Ana-Lucia Cortez on "Lost" Wednesday night may have surprised some, but Michelle Rodriguez said the early exit had been planned for the character since the series' beginning.

"I feel bad," she said, "because I didn't tell the other cast members."

Although Rodriguez, 27, says she had gotten comfortable working on the show, she said she couldn't see herself staying.

"I'm blossoming and becoming a woman," she said, "and if I stay on the show, I wouldn't have the opportunity to become a woman. I'm not done playing chicks who kick a—, but I'm evolving from warrior princess to Cleopatra."

Her character was not, she says, killed off because of her drunken-driving conviction, as some people have speculated.

The other character killed off in Wednesday night's episode was Libby, played by Cynthia Watros. Watros was also charged with drunken driving. The two were driving separate cars but were both pulled over on Dec. 1, 2005.

"I planned on leaving this season anyway," Rodriguez said. "I told them, I wanna go in and go out with bang. I didn't know when it was gonna happen. They actually wanted to give the story line some time. They wanted to give it until the middle of next year. But I was ready to go."

Rodriguez says she has mixed feelings about leaving Hawaii, where "Lost" is filmed.

"My allergies in Hawaii are seasonal, and that's been hard to be on steroids [for allergies], so it will be nice to be away from that. But it sucks to leave such a beautiful place that's given me so much growth. I see God when I look out the window."

Last week, Rodriguez spent three days in jail in Oahu, serving a sentence for drunken driving. She chose the jail time and a $500 fine instead of taking an option that would have allowed her to avoid incarceration if she performed 240 hours of community service.

She described her time in jail, where she shared a dorm space with 60 other female inmates, as "interesting" because it exposed her to different kinds of people.

"They knew of the show," Rodriguez said, "and they weren't necessarily fans of it. They were more fans of what I represent to them. I was the hard-knock-life girl. The girl who made it somewhere."

She said her off-screen troubles had been a "learning experience," but she's handling it.

"It's like, 'Time to grow up, kiddo,'" Rodriguez said she had told herself. "You're not a little rug rat anymore."

Plus libby had the two blankets which HOPEFULLY slowed down the bullets.

Here's a bit hint about what could possibly be going on in the series... Now this could fact or a total coincidence, and some of you may have already known about this... If you watched the recent episode of LOST, Sawyer is reading a manuscript (the same manucsript Hurley had started to read earlier this season). I believe the title of the Script was called "The Bad Twin", and it was written by a passenger who died in the crash - a passenger by the name of Gary Troup. If you play around with the name's letters, it's actually an anagram which spells the word purgatory . However, this could be just a way of throwing off the audience since I remeber watching an interview with Hurley, and he stated that despite the growing rumors, the show is not centered around them all being in pergatory (which was my first assumption, thinking that none of them actually survived the crash, and the show was about them wondering in pergatory.

Also, in the most recent episode, there was a commercial aired about the Hanso Foundation - a foundation which if you follow Lost, funded the Dharma Initiative. It actually had a website and phone number to call. I didn't make any calls but I did check out the website and it is freakin cool. If you sign up for the newsletter, something weird happens and a user by the name of Persephone asks you if you can see what he/she is typing. If you answer yes, the user asks for a password. I believe the password is "Breaking Strain" without the quotes. Once you do that, and let the website do it's thing, go into Joop's corner (the 105 year old ape). Send him a message (any will do) and hit send. You will then be privy to some secret documents sent to some bigwig Hanso CEO's regarding a Mutant strain that has crossed from ape to man (or something to that effect).

Other things to note on the site is that if you let the Joop Live webcam feed cycle for about a minute, you'll see the sihloette or a man for one of the frames. That's all I've found out for now, but I'm sure there's still a bit more to see on that website... check it out at

Earlier in Season 2 about Hurley's backstory, it ended with a shot of Libby in the same institution as Hurley. Now that she's dead, it seems there may be no backstory as to why she was there as well... Kinda weird that they showed that scene earlier and then didn't give really any opportunity to expand that back story. There was rumur that Libby and Ana got the can off the show for their stint of DUI but that was apparently not the case.

Another note, the host on the orientation tape is the same person seen on the first video tape, only he used a different name (Swan tape - Dr. Candle, Pearl tape - Dr. "Wick"mund; a play on words maybe). Also in the swan tape, he had a prosthetic arm and in the Pearl Tape he had both real limbs. could do with an incident that occured inbetween shooting orientation tapes, or could be 2 clones since they have different names?????

According to executive producer Damon Lindelof, there will be new characters in this season as the fans get to know more of the plane crash survivors. There will be fewer flashbacks of the original characters since the new ones will have their own that will become a unique and central component of the series.

No...no delays.the reason why i suggested that the show be delayed till january is because repeats/reruns is one of the things that helps to cancel a show. :) eg. if enterprise, alias, xfiles, sightings etc. had aired each season in january, it might have delayed the cancellation of those shows. :)

This is what I came up with about the statue. Hanso found that island and figured out it had somthing special about it. That it could go to different periods of time. Hence the uncomplete statue. That is what the huge magnetic field is for to be able to control this. The magnet also serves as a cloaking device. This is why you cant come in or cant leave. They were able to get on the island because the magnet was not controled then and pulled the plane in. Its hard for me to explain but search electro magnetic fields and how they are making cloaking devices and time travel.
