Fireworks photo enhance tips

Hello friends,

My question for today is, does anyone use Macromedia Fireworks for image enhancing and if so what tips can you give for making your pictures look digital. I have been searching for the past month and the only tips I come across are for Photoshop. The type of information I am seeking is the proper settings to use on some of the filters. For example colour & brightness correction filters to really make a dull photo “pop”
