Hi All:

I have just obtained a VHS movie in PAL format and would like it to convert it to a DVD. Can I do it easily on my own? OR, any suggestions of reasonably prices shops in the GTA? Thanks for any help!

What kind of equipment do you have?

VCR's, PC capturing device?

Can the VCR play and display the Pal movie on your current equipment?

Thanks for replying, Thaiwoo...No, I do not have a VCR that plays PAL, only the regular VCRs. I guess I cannot do this conversion at home then? Any shops in the GTA that do this reasonably? I have been quoted $25.

DvdSanta might get the job done for you. Google it and you will get others opinions as well -- some good some bad. If it sounds good to you You could download it from your favourite torrent site. If the VHS is important then Ken's suggestion might be your best bet.
