Oblivion for PC

I am trying to uninstall the game.. so I can reinstall it. but I get this error anybody get this or no how to uninstallt he game, any help?!??!?

If you cant figure it out i would just delete the folder as a last resort. Also you can try putting in the CD there May be an uninstall option on the cd.

actually i get the same error trying to uninstall from the cd... dunno what it is

try the software removal tool in windows control panel

hmm, oh, i hope that isnt your cd key that the error message is displaying, if it is you might want to blank it out.

Try this:
Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\ and rename InstallShield to InstallShield-OLD or something along those lines, then try to uninstall it again.
If it works InstallShield will replace the folder, so you can copy the files from the InstallShield-OLD folder in to the new one that was created. Just don't overwrite any of the new files that have been created. That would defeat the purpose of this whole thing. :)

Let me know if that works. If not, I'll try to come up with something else :)

unfortunately i don't know what those files are. there is nothing in my programfiles/oblivion/ that says InstallShield

Inside: C:\Program Files\Common Files\ you're looking for InstallShield.
This is not inside your Oblivion directory. This is the install program.

you will have to set windows to show hidden files ,

to do this open a window go to tools>folder options>then to the view tab and find the section that says hidden files and folders

i would open up a support ticket with the maker of oblivion and see what they say ,
