Help with dvd-rw

Nero keeps saying, "waiting for the drive to become ready..."

I am not able to write or start burning any DVDr's. It just keeps using this little bar meter, that goes from left to right, then starts over. It will never make the Burn button become clickable. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

I followed the procedures to a "T" but as I mentioned on the very last step...nero just says, "Waiting for the drive to become ready..." It just keeps using this little bar meter, that goes from left to right , than starts over. It will never make the Burn button become clickable.

You must not be doing something right, because you shouldn't be going over to Nero to burn the DVD... it's all done within DVD Shrink.

Go back into Shink and open the file and click on 'Backup!'

When the tabs popup look through them and make sure the settings
are correct the last tab will have a check box that says use nero to
burn. this will make the entire process seamless.

I think this will solve your problem, buy 1 click dvd copy. You put your dvd you want to copy in your reader and a blank in your writer and in about an hour your copy is ready, I have copied hundreds of dvds with this software, I think it is the best and easiest.

Problem is a defective dvd burner. Replaced it and everything's fine now.
