I myself do not like people coming into my computer. Who knows what other info there looking at. I do not like people that copy stuff, but I would think if all companys lower the price then there would be a whole lot less copying out there (filesharing). Changing the copyright law is not going to help them at all. It's just going to make people find other ways. A news report a few weeks ago said if file sharing stoped all over the world today. The music companys still would not make more money. Why? welll now a days you can buy music online, and they said that people are just buying 1 or 2 songs instead of the whole cd which is about $15 to $25. So I think changing the copyright laws here in canada is a big waste of our money. So call, fax, snail mail, e-mail your local MP's. Not because to have the right to fileshare. Ok let's say you kid makes a mistake, and downloads 10 or more songs from file sharing then Mom or Dad goes to jail. In other words we should have the control to say no this is not right we should not download from file sharing. We can go to itunes or something. So fight for your right now, because later you will say f--k I should have done some thing.

Prime example Rogers. They first caped the news server, and then they put in a download cap. Then they change there web server over to yahoo. I'm sure there caping our download speed as well. Not enough people called in about this, and now the service is not as good as it was back 2 to 3 years ago.

You see if you say " that does not effect me so I'm not going to do nothing" Well what if there some on the street the s---t kick out of him, and you say it does not effect me. Then a week or more happens to you, and you notice some watching you. You cry for help, but they just walk away. It's just like karma. So do something know about the copyright law or any other thing that you do not think is right.

Few questions

1 how's changing the copyright law going to fix our health problems?
2 how's changing the copyright law going to help the homeless?
3 how's changing the copyright law going to help out of a job?

My point is that we need to fix other problem that effect us health wise first. Sorry for venting.

Do you really honnestly believe that dealing with one issue puts all others on hold? That the government can't deal with multiple issues at once? That the activities of one ministry freeze all other completely unrelated ministries?

Well yes. Them changing the copyright law is one of the many things that is a was of time. I'm sure you can name other thing's that the GOV. is working on that wasting time, and Money. When all of that money can be put in to health care. When my Dad had to be check into the hospital it took 12hrs to get check up, and then put in a bed. Just past June my Mom past away care in the hospital have not improved at all. That was 4 years apart of my Dad passing away. Seeing how the health care is I'm afaird to go to the hospital thinking it would be the last thing I do. Yet the Gov does almost nothing fixing it.
