New hard drive transfer help

I've purchased a new hard drive and wish to move everything over from my old slower drive. Should I just be using the Windows file transfer program or is there a better program I could be using? Thanks for any help.

You need to use a program such as Norton ghost, or Acronis. These programs will make an exact copy of the hard drive, includingh the opertating system. I preferred Acronis, since is a very simply program to use it.

Yes I agree, Acronis is very simple to use, I recently used it on my wifes computer, she had a 10G drive and I copied it over onto a 40G, it was very simple.
