Trouble turning on

Hi, how are you?

I got a P3 1ghz computer w/ 256 ram running xp pro. Since a month ago, i'm having trouble getting it to turn on when pressing the power button. I noticed if I flick the power switch at the back and try pressing the power button it will work, but the times i have to switch and press to get it to work takes a lot of time.

It also has restarted a few times automatically when it's on, please help

you should check the connection of the power supply
to the mother board. you may have a weak power switch
you will need to test it. if you can swap out the power supply
with another see if the problem still exists.
