Vista is the nicest Windows yet... but it's still catch-up on a lot of fronts, indeed. Also, I think they blew it on rip-off of Expose. Vista's Alt-Tab doesn't appear to scale as large as the screen allows, and Flip 3D SUCKS HARD on the usability front -- and I'll bet that there's NO drag-and-drop with either of them like Expose has.

But THIS TIME, they might actually have shed some of the stodgy look and feel of Windows. Even Luna, while radically different than Windows Classic look, was still gaudy, pretty lame and tame. Vista's Glass actually looks palatable! The translucent window borders, however, are gimmicky and add clutter.

BUT will it be SECURE?? That is the question of the ages.
