Hey all,
The screws on my licence plate are in rough shape and I wanted to get new ones? Are all the screws for licence plates the same? Cause I saw at CT they were selling a set of four there but I was not sure if the thread was the same...
Thanks.

No, there's many different possibilities when it comes to plate bolts.
It could be anything from self-tapping screws to nut and bolt to 6mm cap-screw (bolt).
I have no idea what yours takes... maybe you can remove one and match it up ;)

That's what I did. I removed one, went to Canadian Tire, and matched one up except I got a bit longer one as well since I've got a plastic cover on my plates.

And nylon is best.
No rust.
Make sure the plastic covers are clear. The colored ones are illegal in Ontario, even though they are sold almost everywhere.

That would be great, IF THEY POLICED IT!!!!!
I called in about an obscured plate once, and the desk hack said they had to catch the driver on the road.
WTF is that all about. It's not the drivers car (maybe), but it is the owners.

It's not illegal to have then on the car... it's illegal to Drive on a public roadway with them on ;)
And don't get the cheap ones either... spend a couple extra $$ for the good ones... unbreakable ;)

If you are trying to defeat the 407, a series of mylar ribbons, parallel to the ground, would cause the cameras fits.
Not unlike a venetian blind, when it's open.

I went to CT today and found out they were M6 x 1.00 capscrew bolts, and i got some washers with it...I just hope they don't rust, but if they do, hey, it only cost a buck....
Thanks for all your help guys!
