Hi guys:

I saw a message somewhere couple days ago about a computer chain store named as ****. I actually bought my PC there last year and I have to say that their prices were really good although the service was not as good as I expected that time. I visited their Markham location yesterday and purchased a Ferrari notebook. To my surprise, their service has been improved like sooooo much and their prices are still good. Just sharing this good store with a bright future and you may want to try them. They are offering summer special and back to school event now.

By the way, any suggestion for extra notebook cooler? Thanks a lot. :ibi: :ibi:

:tch: If it was such a good deal, why do you need a notebook cooler, my question is why does it need more cooling? Should it not run cool enough in the first place without having to buy a seperate cooling fan? :vxd: Sounds like the laptop didn't have everything it should have had in the first place. Wont be shopping there anytime soon. I would rather buy something that is good to go right from point of purchase, not need things added later. More money spent into something that should have been there to start with...up goes the price for add-ons....now where is this good deal? :eri:

Hate to say it but if you have to buy extra fans to keep it cool, you got hosed. jmo

I'd have to agree their prices are quite good, i have shopped there several times, however just around the corner i find infonec to have similar if not cheaper prices and their customer support is much better. However I am glad that you are happy with your purchase.

Mousemeat: i could understand if the person already had like 50 spam posts already but you are jumping the gun big time, sure they may end up spamming the board, however they have been a member for 3 hours now and only 1 post. most spammers would inundate(sp) the board with spam upon joining since on most boards they would be banned in under 3 hours.

Mander it has nothing to do with the store, it most likely is that the laptop is being used as a desktop replacement, most high end laptops run fairly hot. Looking at the specs of the laptop on the **** site it would appear that it is a beefy laptop and needs extra cooling.

A duck is still a duck.

But, in this case, time will tell if I am being cynical.

I've bought a few components from **** in the past. I can't really complain about their customer service since I just went in, bought what I wanted and left. Their prices are good though.

I think it be a great idea if a whole section on computer stores (or at least a thread that's made a sticky) was created for the purpose of reviewing computer stores. I know that Les has his own so he may not like this idea, but a lot of people don't live in his area and I think they'd be interested in the opinion of fellow TCM members.
