03 & 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Recall

Just received a recal notice from Daimler Chrysler. 03 & 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee's have a recall due to a possible defect on the heated seat elements.

If you own one of those and didn't receive a recall notice you can can check here www.daimlerchrysler.ca/owner if you should have it fixed.

There was another one (Jeep Liberty) yesterday regarding the lower ball joint coming loose (or something to that affect) resulting in a loss of steering.

That's strange since we had the first model year Liberty (I think it was a 2001) before we got the Cherokee and had that same recall done.

I guess whatever they fixed (if they did) didn't work out on the later model years.

I guess I should have read the whole thing. It says that they already did a recall before. I guess the damage occurs during installation since Jeep only pays them a certain amount of time for the warranty work. The dealership took twice as long for the installation which cost them money. Hurry up and damage the parts!
