Watched this Chinese film last evening.

Not bad for action, and excellent visuals.

Not as good as Zatôichi (2003), but if you get TMN anyway it might be of interest to you.

I bought this quite a while ago and it was pretty good. I enjoyed it. Although the ending confused me a little.

Yes.

It's like an entire section of the film wound up on the cutting room floor.

They may have butchered it for the English release. You never know.
