can't remember password

my daughter was being punished (grounded from computer) so i logged in as Admin. & installed my own password to make sure she couldn't use it, now a month later she's not grounded from it any more, but guess what i can't remember what the password is, the guest account is turned off, is there anyway to get past this? xp pro is the operating system. any help would be greatly appreciated. (she's driving me nuts & i'm starting to feel bad. (next time i'll write it down)

i use those linux based disks all the time, real life savor !
if you do use one, read the screen prompts carefully and dont always accept the defaults after you change the Admin password (i use the * to make it blank)
