Just need some help with over clocking here...

I've now hit a wall at 238 Mhz.
I can boot into Windows at 238 Mhz and OCCT passes and Prime95 for 9 hours successfully.
After that, I raised the fsb to 239 and Windows hangs at the Windows splash screen. Hard drive light is solid and will not go anyfurther.

Current settings are,

DRAM 3-3-3-8 @ 100 Mhz (To avoid RAM being an issue)
CPU Overclock in mhz - 239
Hammer FID Control x9
AGP overclock in mhz - 67
LDT/FSB Frequency ratio - 3x (tried 2x as well)
Cool & quiet disabled

CPU VID Control - 1.450 (238 mhz booted fine with voltage at 1.350)
CPU voltage adjusting - +0.1v
Chipset Voltage Control 1.65v
Memory voltage control 2.6v

What do you guys thing I should do next? Keep raising the CPU voltage?

Specs are as follows:

DFI LANParty nForce3 Ultra-D 07/11/2005
AMD 64 3000+ (Venice)
2 x 512 MB OCZ GX Gold PC3500
ATI X800Pro - AGP
Maxtor 200g 7200 16MB SATA
On-board sound
Enermax 535 Watt PSU

your ram can easily do 3-4-4-8 at much higher frequency it's ocz gold heh
i think your voltage is high enough though, what's HTT at right now 714? try setting the multi at 4x to get 952, try to keep HTT near 1ghz,

edit :

CPU VID Control - 1.450 (238 mhz booted fine with voltage at 1.350)

I think you've hit a wall if it's booting fine at 1.35 volts, but still set your multi to 4x and hit 952 on HTT

The DFI undervolt by at least 0.2v so I'd try:
CPU VID Control - 1.425
CPU voltage adjusting - +0.4v
Chipset Voltage Control 1.75v
Memory voltage control 2.9v

LDT @ 3x (I've found the DFI doesn't work as well as my previous Epox... DFI defaults to 4x LDT)

What bios are you guys using?
I have to use the original 605 or else I can't boot again..
I've tried 705/711 I have not tried the 815 beta yet..
I can boot into windows with 705/711 but if i change anything in bios including the date, i have to clear cmos to defaults to boot again??

Well A guy on the DFI forums figured out the bios issue..

It's a huge issue by the way.
It has to do with sata ports 3/4 if you have drives connected to them and flash from you original bios, you get no boot, only a cmos reset will get you back..
If you change any setting in the bios , you get no boot..
If you unhook the drives everything works as it should..
Then after you play with you bios get it set up the way you want you can hook back up your drives and it all works like normal..:)
I am now happily running 711 bios perfectly..
