Can anyone tell me the best Firewall to use?? ZoneAlarm or Sygate?? :rrg:

It's all about how you like the program, both are good. For me personally, I use Sygate due to the simpler interface of the program compared to Zone Alarm.

I have been using Zonealarm for years without any problems.
It has a good "setup" walkthrough.
Never used Sygate myself but I have heard good things about it.

The best firewall is a hardware based one, like a router. The futher you keep your machine away from the modem the better. And I don't mean distance.

I couldn't agree more but failing that, I used ZoneAlarm for years with great success.

Personally, I use zonealarm , I find it better , personal preference

I use Look 'N' Stop firewall 2.05p2, uses little resources and does the job without all those useless features zonealarm has.
