I was trying to install firestarter and I got the following error
configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check
See `config.log' for more details.

See if there's a g++ package and if it's installed. It may have to do with not having c++ support installed with gcc.
Also what does the config.log say?

Whew I got it installed I think I got no more errors. How do I test it under ubuntu. Does anyone know.?
