Errors in NHL 07

Hello Everybody,

So I tried to install NHL 07 on my desktop (sig has my specs)... didn't work. I get the following errors.


Now I got a Dell Latitude from School.. with the new duo core intel. 1gb ram. Its a decent system. Long story short. the game works fine on the laptop. Anybody else experience these errors? Baring in mind my graphics card drivers and directx are up to date.

did you try updating or redownloading dx?

is there an option to install dx9c from the cd?

Yeah actually, now that you say that there was a folder with a directx in there. I attempted to install it, everything went ok. But I still got that error believe it or not

Try to install DX9 from Windows update?

uninstall it and then install from WindowsUpdate?

Uninstall Game and try to reinstall again?

Just shooting out what comes to mind, give it a try.

Uninstall DirectX using this tool:

DirectX 9 Uninstaller

This uninstaller uses your original XP or .NET CD to restore your original DirectX 8 files.

Extract these files to C:DXTEMP! You must extract these files to this directory and run
the UnDx9.bat that uninstalls the DIrectX files in SAFE MODE.

Then when this is all done download and install the latest DirectX 9c or install the one that is available from the game cd.
