Other names you get called on the phone

I'm not sure if anyone else gets this but when Im on the phone people dont hear my name correctly. My real name is Bill but i get called the following on the phone :

Dale, Bell, Paul, Phil.

Does this happen to anyone else ?

I get called all sorts of names. My last name is Rheinhardt. People would sound confused when I tell them my name. They will reply back and be like; rain as in r.a.i.n and hard as in h.a.r.d

I would be on the phone for hours trying to clarify the people the proper spelling. But it is all jokes, I dont take it personal.

It is funny how I get some stupid telemarketer who always ask me if your dad or mom is home. I would be like, why? I am not old enough. Call back in a couple of years when I am old. LoL

Just had a phone call from a telemarketer today. My full name is Lukasz Kaczmarek. So try that. When they mispronounce my name, I tell them "I'm sorry, you must have the wrong number." I know who gets my business and who doesn't so it is easy to get the telemarketers of your back. Ever since I've been saying you got the wrong number, the number of calls have dropped too. Even better for me.
