I as well am trying to learn actionscript, so please work with me here, I'm REALLY new to this.
I've been looking around at other sites to see what can be done. I came across this link (How'd they do this?) (http://www.140db.com/)
It is the middle file in the top row that I'm looking at - titled "Mcarthur Photography"
Once it opens, click the word "sample" on the left side (top link)
From there, click any photo - once the photo opens the picture starts to scroll up an down.
What I would like to know is what technique did the designer use to do this, how could I learn how do it / where could I find a tutorial? Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much!

P.s. I have purchased these 2 books to assist me - "Macromedia Flash MX 2004 ActionScript: Advanced Training from the Source" & "Macromedia Flash MX 2004 ActionScript 2.0 Dictionary" --- However don't see anything in there that would teach me this technique
