You'd be best to find a provider that will let you own your own modem. check www.canadianisp.com and do a search and just ask if you can own your own, depending on the Isp they may sell you one as well....unfortunatly Sympatico will not let you own your own modem at this time

Dude just get rid of DSL and come to the Light Side of Cable....Come to the Light side.....please? lol jk jk..I used to have dsl forget about a new modem and just go the right way...the cable way..lol Best of Luck getting a new modem
