Greetings readers,
I am trying to help my aunt install a wirelss modem so her laptop with wirelss built in, can work around the house.
The thing is, she has bell high speed through dial-up. from what i can see, there is a small little box of sorts, shaped like a Sting-Ray fish, that has one wire from it with a phone jack on the end, and a usb plug. the phone line comes from the wall in to that wire, then the usb end goes in to the comptuer.
How do I hook up the Linksys Wireless-G (WRT54G) so there is wireless through the house with what she has?
Please and thank you.
Ps. What I was thinking was leaving her stuff hooked up that way, then using her onboard ethernet and connect it to the "in" of the wireless router. Would that provide the router with internet so she can use the laptop where ever in the house?
