I havent been keeping up with the news, so I don't know if they changed it, but disappointedly, its going to follow in the footsteps of Doom3. They are concentrating on Single Player, and barely putting in Multiplayer, last I heard was up to 8 players for Deathmatch.

I've always enjoyed playing Quake2, and a lil Q3 multiplayer. And I never liked their company's single player, as it always seemed bland and dull, so I do wish they change their minds on this.

Quake 4's multiplayer seems to focus more on Quake 3's style with just a pure deathmatch setup. Another game called Enemy Territory : Quake wars is coming out and its purley based on multiplayer.

Not a fan of the D3 engine and how it looks but I'm a big quake fan so I'll have to play this.

yeah i read about this, this game looks like it will be really cool. Too bad i wont be able to run it.................

But i was hoping quake 4 would be a story based game not a quake 3 arena type.
