524 or 54G? If it's a 54G try here:

Doesn't look like an easy go.............sort of like my d-link dwl520g.
heh heh, ...... should be D Link 524, either way I still can't figure it out, I'm hopeless, ...... too long with Windows, my brain has turned to mush!

I'm not sure what your problem is Geez...
The 524 is a router, right? Can you access the router through your browser? (http://192.168.0.1/)
What network card are you using? Is it reconized and installed by Suse?

lol Geez! ;) Dan's right, 524 is a router. You sure you don't mean a dwl 520? Here's their wireless family:
http://www.dlink.com/products/category.asp?cid=1&sec=0
What you need to know if you're trying to get a wireless card working is the chipset it uses - ie the dwl-520 is generally an atheros chipset, but you have to watch - sometimes there are different versions of the same card with different chipsets. You can do a:
lsmod
and see if there is anything loaded that looks like your wireless card.
Wireless g seems to be hit or miss. Even if the card is supported, some never get it to work. Wireless b seems to be easier to get going.
I guess most of my problem is i haven't got the ling-go yet, ..... every time i get into the wireless setup, i'm messing up info and the setup fails, ..... i always found "paint by numbers" difficult.

Ah, you are still here... :)
Is it the a wireless card that you're trying to install that's giving you the problems?
