I was at costco today and they have a sony vaio laptop on sale till sunday...

Battery life: One Hour!!! no way I am gonna buy a laptop with that specification. Shop around!! Toshiba laptops are a good value.

What about Acer first i didnt trust them now im hearing good things since there changing the way they work.

Costco is not the place to buy a computer - laptop or desktop.

Whatever you do, make sure that you get a system with a mobile processor - regular P4s consume too much power for running off the battery.
